Hip Work in Session 3

Hip Work in Session 3

In the third session, the entire side of the body from the hips to the head is balanced. This photo shows work on the gluteus medius and external hip rotators, such as the piriformis. Because some of the hip rotators are very deep and close to the joint, they are difficult to reach. Using excessive pressure won't reach them; instead combining moderate pressure with small leg movements is the best way to address these muscles that control the postural habits of the pelvis.
